How much do security grilles cost?
Most retractable window grilles cost £345 to £795 plus VAT (£414 to £954 inc VAT) supplied and fitted, door gates £595 to £1,295 plus VAT (£714 to £1,554 inc VAT) and shopfronts £1,195 to £3,495 plus VAT (£1,434 to £4,194 inc VAT). These are guide ranges; your fixed price is confirmed in writing after a free survey, before anything is ordered.

What changes the price?
- Size and the number of leaves needed for wide openings
- Grille type: fixed bars cost least, roller and certified grilles most
- Finish: special RAL colours and galvanising add to the price
- Security level: heavier sections, extra locking and certified products
- Fixing: weak or shallow reveals may need a subframe
- Access and timing: difficult access or out-of-hours fitting
Repairs and servicing
Repair visits start from £145 plus VAT (£174 inc VAT), and most repairs fall between £145 and £495 plus VAT (£174 to £594 inc VAT) including parts. Servicing starts from £95 plus VAT (£114 inc VAT) per grille with a minimum visit charge of £145 plus VAT (£174 inc VAT). Visit charges are confirmed before we attend.
