This website is run by Security Grilles UK, a trading name of S&K Property Investments and Improvement Ltd (company number 16932889), part of the S&K Group.
The data controller for information you give us through this website, including enquiries, quote requests and live chat, is S&K Group Holdings Ltd (company number 16703925), Unit 1 Hembs Crescent, Great Barr, Birmingham B43 5DG. It receives enquiries on behalf of the group company that will quote for and carry out your work. When you accept a quote, S&K Property Investments and Improvement Ltd is the controller for your quote, contract and job records.

Why we use it and our lawful basis
- To reply to your enquiry and prepare a quote: steps you ask us to take before entering a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.
- To carry out the work you order: performance of a contract.
- To keep accounting and tax records: legal obligation.
- Live chat: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time from Cookie settings.
We do not sell your information or use it for unrelated marketing. We only send marketing if you have opted in.
Who we share it with
Service providers who help us run the website and handle enquiries (Web3Forms, Tawk.to, Netlify for hosting), installers working under our contract who need details to survey and fit, other S&K Group companies involved in your job, and professional advisers or authorities where the law requires. Some providers process data outside the UK; where they do, we rely on recognised safeguards such as adequacy regulations or approved contract clauses.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries and chats that do not lead to work: 24 months
- Quotes, contracts and job records: 7 years after the job, for accounting, warranty and legal reasons
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, ask for it to be moved to another organisation, and withdraw consent.
