Fitting grilles you already own in Cardiff typically costs £234 to £594 including VAT (£195 to £495 plus VAT) per opening, after we have checked the product. For new grilles, fitting is included in the supplied-and-fitted price confirmed after a free survey.
Security grille installation covers the free survey, measuring, ordering and fitting of your grilles, then a handover where we show you how to operate and look after them. You contract with us for the whole job, and the work is carried out by installers working under our contract.

Planning and safety in Wales
Grilles across exits in business premises
The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 applies in Wales, including to the common parts of blocks of flats and HMOs. The responsible person must keep escape routes and exits available and easy to open while people are present, so a grille across an exit should be open whenever the premises are occupied.
Bedroom and escape windows
Wales has its own Approved Documents under the Building Regulations. Approved Document B for Wales sets out escape window provisions for dwellings broadly in line with England's, including minimum opening sizes. We only fit grilles over escape windows with a keyless internal release.
