How much do patio and bifold door grilles cost in Wrexham?
Budget £1,074 to £2,994 including VAT (£895 to £2,495 plus VAT) per set of doors for patio and bifold door grilles in Wrexham, supplied and fitted. Size, number of leaves, colour and access all move the price, which is fixed in writing after the survey.
A patio door grille is a wide retractable grille fitted inside sliding patio or bifold doors. Closed, it protects a large glazed opening that is often out of sight at the back of the house; open, it folds into slim stacks so the view and access are unaffected.

Things to decide before you order
Usage
If you open the doors every day, ask for a lighter-action grille with smooth runners.
Where it parks
Bifold doors stack their own leaves to one side; the grille stack should not fight them.
Rules that apply in Wales
Listed buildings and conservation areas
Listed buildings in Wales need listed building consent for works affecting their character, decided by the local planning authority with Cadw's involvement where required. Conservation areas bring extra scrutiny of external changes. Check with the council before ordering.
Bedroom and escape windows
Wales has its own Approved Documents under the Building Regulations. Approved Document B for Wales sets out escape window provisions for dwellings broadly in line with England's, including minimum opening sizes. We only fit grilles over escape windows with a keyless internal release.

Patio and bifold door grilles in Wrexham: questions
Do you cover Rhosllanerchrugog as well as Wrexham?
Yes. As well as Wrexham, we can arrange surveys in nearby Rhosllanerchrugog, Buckley and Hawarden, and elsewhere in Clwyd.
How long does fitting take?
A typical set of patio doors takes half a day once the grille is made.
Can I walk over the grille track?
Yes. Low-profile tracks are a few millimetres high, and recessed tracks sit flush with the floor.
Will a grille get in the way of my bifold doors?
No. We plan the stack so the bifold leaves and the grille fold to positions that do not clash.
