How much should I budget for bi-folding security gates in Wrexham?
Most bi-folding security gates in Wrexham fall within £954 to £2,634 including VAT (£795 to £2,195 plus VAT) per opening for supply and fitting. We confirm a fixed price in writing after a free survey, before anything is ordered.
A bi-folding security gate is made of hinged leaves of vertical bars that fold against each other as they slide along a top track. It covers wide openings like a retractable grille but folds into fewer, flatter panels with no scissor lattice.

Infill
Add mesh or solid panels where you want to stop reach-through or hide the area behind.
Consents and safety: Wales
Listed buildings and conservation areas
Listed buildings in Wales need listed building consent for works affecting their character, decided by the local planning authority with Cadw's involvement where required. Conservation areas bring extra scrutiny of external changes. Check with the council before ordering.
Grilles across exits in business premises
The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 applies in Wales, including to the common parts of blocks of flats and HMOs. The responsible person must keep escape routes and exits available and easy to open while people are present, so a grille across an exit should be open whenever the premises are occupied.
