How much do LPS 1175 certified security grilles cost in Bicester?
Budget £1,495 to £5,995 plus VAT (£1,794 to £7,194 inc VAT) per opening for LPS 1175 certified security grilles in Bicester, supplied and fitted. Size, number of leaves, colour and access all move the price, which is fixed in writing after the survey.
LPS 1175 certified security grilles are products that a manufacturer has had independently tested and certified by the Loss Prevention Certification Board against the LPS 1175 standard. The rating tells you which tools the grille resisted and for how long, which is what many insurers and specifiers ask for.

Things to decide before you order
Which rating you need
Start from your insurer's or specifier's requirement rather than choosing the highest number.
Certified product, not certified installer
The certificate covers the manufacturer's tested product. Check the certificate reference against the LPCB's listing.
Rules that apply in England
External grilles and planning
External grilles and shutters on shops and other commercial buildings normally need planning permission from the local council because they change the building's appearance. Many councils' shopfront guides favour internal, open-lattice grilles, particularly in conservation areas.
Grilles across exits in business premises
In workplaces and other non-domestic premises, including the common parts of blocks of flats and HMOs, the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 makes the responsible person keep escape routes and emergency exits available and easy to open while people are present. A grille across an exit should be unlocked and parked open whenever the building is occupied, and covered in the fire risk assessment.
