Bespoke security grilles in Bedworth: what will it cost?
Our guide range for bespoke security grilles in Bedworth is £474 to £3,594 including VAT (£395 to £2,995 plus VAT) per opening, including fitting. The survey is free for new installations and your fixed price follows in writing.
A bespoke security grille is designed and fabricated for one particular opening, such as an arched window, a curved bay, a very large screen or a period building where a standard grille would look wrong. It is measured on site, drawn up and made to suit.

Getting the right bespoke grille for your building
Design approval
We agree a drawing showing bar layout, sections and finish before anything is made.
Lead time
Bespoke grilles take longer than standard ones because each is drawn and made individually.
What the rules say in England
Listed buildings and conservation areas
Listed buildings need listed building consent for works that affect their character, which can include internal grilles and their fixings. In conservation areas, councils look closely at anything fitted to the outside. We recommend speaking to the council's conservation officer before ordering.
External grilles and planning
External grilles and shutters on shops and other commercial buildings normally need planning permission from the local council because they change the building's appearance. Many councils' shopfront guides favour internal, open-lattice grilles, particularly in conservation areas.

Bespoke security grilles in Bedworth: questions
Do you cover Nuneaton as well as Bedworth?
Yes. As well as Bedworth, we can arrange surveys in nearby Nuneaton, Coventry and Hinckley, and elsewhere in Warwickshire.
How long do bespoke grilles take?
Longer than standard grilles because each is drawn and fabricated individually. The lead time is confirmed with the quote.
Can bespoke grilles still be retractable?
Yes, within limits. Retractable grilles need straight tracks, so curved or arched parts are usually fixed.
Can you copy an existing grille design?
We can make a grille in a similar style for a matching window. We do not copy other firms' registered designs.
