How much should I budget for patio and bifold door grilles in County Fermanagh?
As a guide, patio and bifold door grilles in County Fermanagh cost £1,074 to £2,994 including VAT (£895 to £2,495 plus VAT) per set of doors, supplied and fitted. The exact figure depends on size, type, finish and locking, and is confirmed in writing after the free survey.
A patio door grille is a wide retractable grille fitted inside sliding patio or bifold doors. Closed, it protects a large glazed opening that is often out of sight at the back of the house; open, it folds into slim stacks so the view and access are unaffected.

What to think about first
Track
A low-profile track keeps the threshold easy to walk over. Recessed tracks need a little floor work.
Where it parks
Bifold doors stack their own leaves to one side; the grille stack should not fight them.
Consents and safety: Northern Ireland
Listed buildings and conservation areas
Listed buildings in Northern Ireland need listed building consent for works affecting their character, with the council deciding and the Department for Communities' Historic Environment Division advising. Conservation areas bring extra scrutiny of external changes.
Bedroom and escape windows
Fire safety in new building work in Northern Ireland is covered by the Building Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2012 and Technical Booklet E. Where a room relies on a window for escape, nothing fitted over it should stop it being used. We only fit grilles over escape windows with a keyless internal release.

Patio and bifold door grilles in County Fermanagh: questions
Which towns in County Fermanagh do you cover?
We can arrange work anywhere in County Fermanagh, including Enniskillen, Irvinestown and Lisnaskea.
Can the grille be fitted outside the patio doors?
It can, but inside is usual because the grille is protected and the outside of the house stays the same.
Will a grille get in the way of my bifold doors?
No. We plan the stack so the bifold leaves and the grille fold to positions that do not clash.
How long does fitting take?
